Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Earn Account?

The Earn Account is an investment product in which the user can deposit funds and get a 5% annualized yield in return. The user gets to keep the original amount invested plus the interest generated. Your earnings will automatically be added to the Earn Account funds each week. You can choose to move your earnings to your Checking account, where you can make transfers, or you can keep your funds in the Earn Account to gain compounded interest for more earnings!

What is the Prize Account?

The Prize account is a rewards product hosted by Rand in which all users can join in to contribute to yield generation. The total interest generated in one week is distributed among a number of lucky winners. The yield generation for next week’s prizes starts directly after distribution. Everyone keeps the original amount invested regardless of whether they win or not.

Can my funds be simultaneously at the Earn and at the Prize Account?

You have the flexibility to allocate your funds either at the Earn Account, at the Prize Account, or split them between the two. There is no constraint in how you distribute your funds, however, note that your funds cannot be simultaneously deposited into both accounts.

Where do the rewards come from?

We generate interest on all user's funds in the Prize & Earn accounts. We use Web3 and AI technology to deploy market-neutral trading strategies like margin lending, market-making and basis trading. These are managed under a strict risk management policy framework where the capital is fully collateralized and deployed in a market-neutral way to protect funds from any market risk or volatility.

Can I withdraw whenever I want?

You can top off your funds whenever it suits you! However, keep in mind that moving out a portion of your funds from the Earn Account will reduce the bonus you receive in a fixed period of time. Similarly, removing funds from the Prize Account in between weekly prize draws will significantly reduce your chances of winning and, if all your funds are removed, you won’t have any chance of winning.

How is Rand protecting my money?

At Rand, your security is our number one priority. Every euro you add to your checking account is secured by banking infrastructure. All the funds moved to the Prize or Earn accounts are managed under a strict risk management policy where the capital is fully collateralized and deployed on a market neutral way to protect funds from any market shift.

Does Rand have transfer fees?

At Rand you don’t have to worry about fees. Move your money at no expense!
